the root of all evil?

for those of you who've been following the continuing saga of a poor, poor theatre company trying to get paid by the fringe, yesterday, something beautiful happened.

around 930 am, a federal express delivery man came to our "offices" and rang the bell. artistic director #1 signed for an envelope. she opened the envelope and discovered two checks, one for the money we're owed and one for our legal fees. they are both now securely in the bank...we are starting on our next project in about a week!
